The Kalahari, a photographer’s dream, is an arid expanse with tall ivory grasses and twisted acacia trees silhouetted against the horizon. The pans have a mirage-style effect making the blue-clay look as though it is filled with water when in reality it is bone dry.
Wildlife sightings are more extraordinary, with majestic lions blending into the golden grasses and white sand backgrounds, agile cheetahs stalking their prey, and graceful giraffes silhouetted against the horizon. It’s an experience that will leave you in awe.
Timed during the zebra migration, this photographic experience is designed for the photographer who wants a genuine African wildlife adventure and prioritizes unique, high-quality photographic opportunities over quantity. You will also have the option to do ariel photography from a helicopter with doors off.

Arrive in Maun Botswana by 2:00PM (suggested flight(s) will be in your trip package)
We will meet and transfer by light aircraft to the Kalahari.
If time allows, we will have a late afternoon drive.

The Price
The price of this adventurous Kalahari Expedition is $16,795.00. This price is based on double occupancy.
Private accommodations are limited to one in the mobile tent camps. You can use private accommodations for the two lodges on night 1 and 8,9,10 (inquire about price and availability). The private tent in the mobile camps will be confirmed once the trip is sold out and the other rooms are allocated. If you must have single accommodations, please make an inquiry prior to registration. Priority for a private room will be based on the order in which the deposit is received with the request for a private room on the registration.
The cost of private accommodations for the entire safari is 3,495.00
***The cost of this safari is based on a minimum of 7 participants. If there are less than 7 participants a small supplement fee of $1,295.00 will apply.
A USD $5,000.00 Non-refundable deposit is due at the time of registration to secure your spot. We highly recommend purchasing travel insurance to cover your deposit and trip.
Payment Terms

- 2nd payment of USD $7,000.00 is due May 15, 2025
- Final payment/balance is due December 15, 2025
