LISA LAPOINTE
Lisa LaPointe is an international expedition leader and photographer specializing in wildlife and conservation. Over the last decade her work has taken her to more than twenty countries across six continents. She regularly guides clients through the planet’s most unforgiving landscapes, introducing them to beauty in its wildest forms. From the Arctic to the Antarctic and many places between, Lisa seeks captivating landscapes and unique perspectives.
Trained as a biologist, Lisa is known for combining principles of art and science into compelling storytelling. She is interested in how wild creatures interact with their environment, each other, and man. Her goal is to show both the beauty and innate value of wildlife and wild places, and the challenges they face.
As a photography educator, Lisa encourages development of personal vision and storytelling skills, as well as technical and creative aspects. She is hands-on in the field, and delighted to answer questions and offer individualized advice. After more than a decade of leading adventure travel and photography workshops around the globe, Lisa has developed an engaging teaching style and a wealth of wildlife knowledge.
