Saturday morning, during a game drive in Amboseli, I received a call from Chris Coe informing me that I had won the prestigious “Travel Photographer of the Year 2024” award. I was left speechless. After more than 20 years of photographing across the African continent and focusing on infrared photography for the past decade, this honor means a great deal to me, especially because it represents both my wildlife and tribal images.
