Hang in there

_Q1V2269

The past year has been exciting, but overwhelmingly busy. When I have been in the US, I have dedicated a large amount of my time to 2 projects for 2014. The rest of my time has been dedicate to my safaris/tours that are all sold out this year. Sharing the magic of Africa with other photographers,  has been one of the most rewarding parts of this journey!

I have been working with Tandem Stills + Motion, a great team to partner with, on the promotional video. This has taken me so far out of my comfort zone, that I have come to realize if you are pure in your  passion about something, you can do anything you set your mind to. This project  has put me in front of the camera, both video and stills, required voice overs, and pushed me to finally make the transition to shooting video with open arms.  We are in the final stages of the video, which I am hoping will be finished before I board the plane to Ethiopia in a few weeks. I will be in Ethiopia and possibly back in Kenya for two months.

When I return, at the end of Nov, I will be getting back on track with the blog, sharing  inspiration and  information to help you with your own photographic vision and journey. I will also start speaking more about this exciting project in 2014 and the big roll out is scheduled for early 2014.  So, hang in there, exiting things are coming.
